Chilean Police PDI Found a Stolen Watch Belonging to Keanu Reeves During an Operation in Santiago
The Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) reported an unusual discovery following a procedure related to a case of robbery with violence in Santiago's eastern sector.
According to their explanation, the agency seized a valuable Rolex watch belonging to actor Keanu Reeves after searching four properties in Peñalolén linked to a network of violent crimes.
The operation originated after a 21-year-old man and a group of unidentified individuals violently broke into a home in Vitacura. "They tied up the homeowner, beat him with weapons, and stole two vehicles in the presence of two minors," explained Andrea Contreras, a prosecutor for the Eastern Flagrancy Unit.
This crime prompted the PDI to conduct investigative actions, during which they seized jewelry, valuable pens, and a collection of high-end watches, including the item belonging to Reeves.
According to various police reports, the watch was stolen from Keanu Reeves' mansion in California at the end of 2023.
